WOOHOO! been looking for martial arts to learn with wen xian... let me list down the choices...
-Aikido!
-Capoeira!
-Kendo!
-Kickboxing!
hmm Aikido is the most suitable! and the most fang1 bian4! its at bukit batok cc! and its rather cool! its defensive! not offensive! i think... something to do with using the opponent's strength against himself... means if he hits u with his hand, supposed to take it hand as a sword and attack him? i dunno...
then we hav Capoeira! hmm i thought of it because of tekken 5... THIS IS THE MOST COOL ONE! but the most impossible one to take... but the origin of it is cool enough! "The art-form started up in Brazil during the 16th Century, an obvious result of the slave trading that took place in conjunction with the previously slaved native Indians." its supposed to look like a dance i think... because they didnt want the slave masters to knw that they were practising a form of martial art so they made it look like a dance... i think... eh... i also not sure... anw it looks super cool! and after learning it... holding shi1 would be a piece of cake! but i cant imagine myself or wen xian learning it...
Kendo is cool! i thought of it because of samurai x? but wen xian doesnt want... ah well... almost all the martial arts sound cool to me ><
Kickboxing! hehe! but i dun think my parents will allow... but its also very cool! and wen xian doesnt want it either...
ok so the one we would most probably learn is aikido! which doesnt look as cool after we saw capoeira but i dun think we can learn capoeira... =(
