I'm very sorry for what happened at Kbox today, I know it was very uncalled for and unexpected and I'm even more sorry I left it unexplained... The thing is that I don't know how to tell you all the reason behind it, and if I try to talk about it I'll feel worse and even if I tell you all I don't think you'll really understand unless you jing1 li4 before.

I'm really very very sorry k it was supposed to be a happy event but I ruined the mood, some more it's our last squad Kbox before we POP:( I'm sorry you all had to see a weak me and to see me break down because I really couldn't stand it I couldn't force a strong front anymore... and I swear this is the first time I cried so hard ever since CT Finals. I thought I got numb because this thing happened about a month ago already but I'm really not numb enough yet no matter how hard I'm trying.

Sqdms thank you for the concern even though I couldn't stop crying, I really appreciate you all but sqdms are good enough a natural cure, just that some things take longer to cure because the impact is too great and the hurt is too deep. No matter what, thank you for being funny and gay, for the hugs, for wiping away my tears and just staying with me to make sure I was okay. And I love you all I really do and nobody can replace sqdms and as the saying goes, "squadmateship never sinks".

Rest assured sqdms I will do my best not to break down again (so AA/unglam/embarrassing...) and I must and will get stronger and move on with my life. Don't worry k just remember my name, I will be strong:) Unfortunately time doesn't heal, but maybe over time I will either forget some things and become numb-er or just slowly get used to this kind of dabian-ish feeling.

i realised that we haven't had a chance to look into the sky during spread eagle since our very 1st ATC in sec 1. the rest of the years were all raining and we could only see it from indoors! So many things changed in ATC through the 4 years.
From about 10+ people in 1 company to ~5, From 3 days to 2 days, etc etc.

hey squids, i feel extrememly useless and stupid. hmm my mum must be really sad to have given birth to such a pathetic person who is just lazing around at home every single day of her school hols. she is either doing np stuff on the comp, or yfc stuff on the comp, or visiting fb, or doing stupid things like stoning at home, sleeping and eating the whole day. i just cant bring myself to do anything more serious than np and yfc, that is homework. i just cant focus. i tried to do my ih but i ended up just reading tru lines and lines of words and suddenly i will be asking myself what am i doing, cos i dun even know i am reading the words, nothing just goes inside my brain. so my ih is still undone. there isnt a single word about it written yet. i owe my teacher an ying yong wen and 3 compre but i havent touch them at all. i am screwed i know but i cant make myself touch any work i dunno why. why am i such a failure. why why why. cant even make myself do my work when school is going to reopen and the teachers will be like.. what the heck have you been doing during ur sch hols??? and no it's not cos i took up a lot of stuff during my sch hols. its just me who cant accept reality. you always blame me for not staying at home. i know its my fault. its always my fault. i am not trying to push the blame. it is ture that i could have done more to stay at home more often but who knows that this will happen. for every normal school day, i return home to see a blank wall and i am just leaving in fear. perhaps you dunno this is why i always want to stay in school till so late cos i am afraid of being alone. i didnt do anything bad but i dunno what constitutes to this fear which keep coming up to me. its hard for me to explain this to you. everything i do will add on to ur stress cos i am useless. how i wish i can help ou relieve your stress- i know the only way is for me to come straight home everydya after school. after i try to alleviate your stress, she will come and screw it up with all her outings every weekend with him. why cant she understand your thoughts, i also dunno why. i dunno why it never rings to her that she shld be staying at home more freq instead of treating this as a hotel. why must i always regret only when sth bad happens? why why why. cos this is life and i have to accept it yeah? how i wish i can not study and stay at home with you everyday from now onwards without each of us worrying the other party's stress/ homework. i really hope life will be much better when sch reopens. and everything will stop taking away my gems in life. i dont need anything big i just want a normal life. cant you hear me? it's just a normal life. things as simple as this cant even be fufilled, then what is the meaning of life!!!!!

Today marks the 7th day of the Lunar Chinese New Year 2010. It's the year of the tiger this year and as usual, Nanyang DALT would move around islandwide to offer Caiqing/Liondance services to people who requested for it. Every year it was a tradition for us to book an open air lorry to go around Singapore, and this year, nothing changed. Except for the diminishing traces of Nanyang DALT, which used to be prosperous, dignified and respected just a few years ago. This year, there were lesser familiar faces, but thankfully, there were 16 familiar faces that were together with me on this journey, and this was enough. I loved the feeling on sitting on the open lorry, singing songs with my 16 closest friends, and enjoying time spent together as the wind ruffled our hair and tickled our skin. This Caiqing would mark the last occasion spent on a lorry with these other 16 people, and our last Caiqing in Nanyang DALT. It could also mark the last Caiqing the once glorious Nanyang DALT would have. Nanyang DALT now, feels like an organization that seems to be dying. It used to be joined as one CCA with NPCC, which explains the reason why the Sec4s are in both CCAs. Anyone who knew Nanyang DALT in the past would know why the word glorious is always emphasized on. We are the only ALL GIRLS Lion Dance Troupe in Singapore standing, but this organization is already limping as of now. Anyone who doesnt know this bunch of crazy girls would think we're crazy, singing, shouting, laughing madly on the lorry, to changing into our Lion Dance attires on the lorry despite its sudden jerks and braking would think that these people are mad; but deep down, only the 17 people on the lorry would understand what it would mean to feel the energy and the glory of Nanyang DALT, and only these 17 people would understand the meaning of the diminishing glory we once possessed. The remains of Nanyang DALT are minute, and it could probably disintegrate anytime from 16th July, when 17 members of Nanyang DALT have officially left this dying tree. The last roots of Nanyang DALT, in our hands. The last glory of NANYANG NPCC/DALT, in our hands too. This seed was planted, but it never got to flourish under us. We never accomplished the syllabus due to unforeseen circumstances... The last and incomplete traces of Nanyang DALT and Nanyang NPCC/DALT (as one), is going to expire soon, in our hands.

The last time i posted here was like a month ago hahaha

After sqdms mentioned about the blog war 2 years ago, i went to our blog's drafted posts and saw the things that happened 2 years ago and couldn't help thinking how much we changed/grown (in both the good and bad ways) and how different we are now. we have done/said alot of wrong things in the past few years, whether they are to our own squad or to others, but no matter how much we want to and no matter what we can't turn back now. when we were cadets, we promised to learn from the hard times and mistakes, but today as ncos we guiltily say we're sorry to ma'ams and the unit because we aren't very good ncos. (plus the guilt about nyct...hai.)

Now we focus on training the next generation to be better than us. painful to scold them, yes, but we can't let them follow our footsteps right? inflict the pain now and save the future regret. ma'ams were right to say that we'll understand only after we become ncos. i now understand how ma'ams cared and worried so much for us and how troublesome our squad may have been. hopefully in time to come the unit will understand our difficulties and why we do things the way we do. 16 july will be the day we pass out, sqdms. and hopefully 16 july is the day the unit starts anew and chases back the reputation and standards we've made the unit lose. (sounds so negative so i shall end of positively)

It's been 3 weeks since I have talked to you guys..Have you all ever tried going on for a trip, without any squids to talk to at all? ): And I'm going to miss all the fun in singapore..like csm-ing and nydp-ing and kbox-ing and dining with squids. i feel kind of..lonely.
how to say it. it's like, even without my presence for any of these events, everything will still go on, it's like, even if i died the world will still continue to revolve on its own axis, without any care for the fact that someone called chua yi jia is gone from the world. haiz. and im not even sure how i will contribute to these events, like making squadmates happy and stuff? but i would still like to join you all, if i have the chance.

Esther reminded me abt the blog war two years ago two years later, Im still being pissed.I rmb saying we would surpass them, and we will make it but we didn't and will nvr will. I'm a bad nco a rly bad one. I'm fail I never achieved anything in np, not even academics. Why do I exist? Does my existence mean anything? Even when I try my best I don't get there. What have I gotten from these years in ny? Trouble. What have I caused? Trouble. I seeked to instil passion arnd me, I tried so hard to do stuff that never paid off. Cos I never got chances and never will. I even drag ppl into my trouble when they didn't deserve it at all before. For this, thank u sqms and sorry. U guys are really the best nynp has given me.

If only ma'ams were stricter with us we won't be of such a lousy standard causing nynp to be mocked. I feel the mockery I feel stupid for being incapable cadets and ma'ams. If only I weren't that rebellious I would have achieved even more than what I set out to. In any case it's too late for regrets, we're going to pop soon, like a balloon that leaves behind it's rubber outsides. It's like throwing off a burden but this burden is the burden that taught me how to live and love and feel. I don't even think I make that difference in anyone's lives. This post is like long accumulated alr so yea it's log winded and gross but I rly wonder what will become of nynp in future. Sometimes it's because u care too much that's why it's painful. And there are somethings that can never be retrived once they are lost, the ct feeling, the team spirit and like the feeling of pitching in the rain while sick and crying like a bobo after that. And the thought of falling into sqms arms while crying is so heartwarming I can still rmb how it felt like. And time zooms past we didn't win and achieve what we wanted to since two years ago and neither did I achieve anything I wanted since 2 years ago. Same thing happened for marksmen. It was a one off thing and I never got to touch a revolver again. Scholarship also same. Maybe life's like that. Tired of it but u go on nevertheless cos there's no time to stand and stare.

hello squids 我有一点烦.and sad D:
holiday is nearly over and i feel like..i got disconnected from everyone.
i admit i have always been quite a weird person..i always live in my own world(a.k.a anti-social), but yet i really really want to get closer to people. it's really conflicting!! and i think i have no friends, cos i look at my sis who always sms/talk on phone/msn with loads of ppl, and i can't help comparing myself with her. i dunno if youngters like my sis just love to squeeze out stuff to talk or they just talk to everyone just to make them look popular or smth. but i feel very sad sometimes, and can't help thinking if im the 'abandoned' one.
so..sometimes i actually feel quite out from the squad too.is it just me??i really dunno!i need ppl to tell me like 'actually we don't hate you' or stuff like that. it sounds stupid i know,but then i've always been quite an insecured and paranoid person..D: anw i think im in a weird mood today so im starting to hu2 si1 luan4 xiang3 even more.
and i don't even feel close to my classmates. shouldn't classmates be like always talking to each other and sharing many fun things?? ok maybe we don't even need to be that close with everyone, but a alot of times when i look around at my classmates, i just feel kinda left out. and there are a lot of cliques, so it makes it even worse cos im just so diff from them(they're more westernized so half the times i dunno who they're talking about..some of them even buy thong and bra for each other's x'mas presents o.o i was a bit 'wth??')
so i'd run to squids everytime.

so..i want to thank every squid for being so kind to me these 3 years..and letting me find a place where i think i truly belong to in ny.i think i have not done well as a squid, cos i was looking at some of our old posts and i realised i have not been really participating in stuff..i apologise for that ): and im really sorry that i have not shown my appreciation to you all through actions or through words or through contributions..
im also very sad that i have missed out so much thing during my stay in china..stuff like atc and ncos life, which is already 'half gone' according to ma'ams. i want to have a common memory with u all, smth which will make me smile or cry when i think of them in the future. and time is running out..we only have half a year more to really stay tgt as a sqd, then we'll break up in jc and etc. D: i really don't want that..but i guess we have no choice but to learn to accept partings which are inevitable in our lives, and grow up bit by bit everytime it happens.
so..no matter how little time we have left, i hope that we can make full use of it,and create perharps,even more memorable memories for us to reminisce in years to come. :)
and thank you all.

p.s sorry for this crappy-long-and-out-of-point post o.o it's more like me complaining and stuff but the second part is the main point..:)

hmm.. i'm so sorry that i'm missing from your presence most of the time.
i dun want to do this either.
i'm now at a loss. i feel so scared :S , i want to talk to someone but i dunno who to talk to. it is hard to talk to someone who will be able to understand how i feel now. it's terrible but i know that there is someone who is feeling even more worse than me right now. i cant help seeing _____ cry, i dunno what to do to help _____, who am i so useless? i dunno why.. i am very scared. i want sch to reopen quickly so that at least i will get to go to sch and mingle with ppl, and forget about the unhappiness buried in me.. but on the other hand, i dun want to leave ____, if i were to go to sch, there will be no one there with _____. i feel so sad. if i can choose to quit my studies now, and stay with _____, i wont mind but i am scared for caring for ____ cos i dunno what to do to show my care. it's so hard. really hard. and i'm very very very afraid of seeing reality. i just cant.

why must life be so complicated with all the suffering. i know that there are ppl who are just putting a strong front but she will end up crying in front of me. while, the cruel me is trying to tell myself to expect the unexpected so that i wont feel so depressed when the unexpected really happens. why an i so cruel...? but if i dun do this, i will end up crying for days when the unexpected comes, and i dun think i will even be in the mood to study.. then i'm going to do badly and teachers are gonna give me that face.. i know i must stay strong for ____ but how am i going to do this? i dun want to let them know that i am so concerned or i am afraid that they will feel bad. i really dunno what to do. i want to help out, but there's nothing much i can help in, and i may end up getting too emotional.

now, i see that my sis is really useless, being the elder one, she is ironically the one who is most not updated abt stuff cos she's always outside, or even if she is at home, she will only be in her world of smsing her bf or doing stuff for him. she's so ignorant.. what she does is only to argue with my parents cos of her ego-ness. why must my parents be the one to give way to her? why?!! i want a new sister, a more sensible one whom i can share my thoughts and feelings with. this is really depressing.

i really dunno what to do. and i just want to apologise to yall for not being able to spend more time with yall. i'm, sorry. dont get angry please. (:

hello squids,

i am currently rotting at home with a temp of 39.8deg again.
hmm.. better than the 40deg of ytd.i am so bored lol, cant do homework, cant study and can only sleep sleep sleep all day! my sis was stopping me from entering our shared room and i had to sleep in the living rm last evening. it hurts whenever i cough which i think is due to the cruntches which we did on tuesday. lol.. not symptom of h1n1 la. haha this post is quite messy cos i am too lazy to put it in paras. my brain is fried. :O oh worse still, my parents went overseas this morning and i alone at home. initially, i was recovering quite well with temp of 38.3 deg, then 37.8deg. but i went north point with my sis for lunch (she refuse to buy lunch for me as she has to go to school for her prelims afterwards) and got drenched in the heavy rain though i had an umbrella with me. :X this is so stupid..
* and worst still, i cant go for dalt tmr! firstly, my mc ends tmr and if i get caught by my teachers for being in school, i will get into serious trouble. secondly, i am not sure if i will get well by tmr aft cos my temp keeps fluctuating (AH! I hope to be healthy again):X
